About Presbyterian University College Ghana

The is located in Eastern Region in Ghana.The dream to built a university is traced back in 1843 by the Presbyterian Church of 
Ghana,where the first primary school built.Presbyterian Training College (PTC) at Akropong,was established which later became 
Presbyterian University College.

The university''s mission is: “To design and implement relevant academic and professional programme of teaching, research and outreach for a global population within the context of Christian ethics that produce holistic human development”.

The following are some of the university''s objectives:
(i)To foster relationship with other institutions of higher learning, persons and bodies
(ii)To acquire and disseminate knowledge and information.
(iii)To provide for and promote University education, learning and research.
